Volunteer- Volunteering is a great way to get to know people. It gets you out of your comfort zone, plus you’re doing something good with your time. You’re helping your community and that’s great! Plus, you have a chance to meet folks with similar interests as your own that also like to be active in the community.

Take A Class- This is an organized way of meeting someone that’s way less scary than introducing yourself to a total stranger. Always wanted to take a cooking class or a dance class? Sign up for it! There will be other people there with similar interests to your own. Plus, it’ll be fun!

Say ‘Yes’ Often- Stop making excuses, introvert. The world is full of unexpected experiences! If you can make it to an event or outing, say yes. Even if it scares you a little, you might have fun. I know it’s hard to get over that fear, but remember that fortune favors the bold and saying ‘yes’ to a new experience might give you an opportunity to grow.

Don’t Look At Your Phone- Don’t look at your phone and get out of your head. There are so many people out there who are on the same boat as you. When you initiate, you’ll be surprised by the response that you receive. Stay positive! Your vibe attracts your tribe.
