By 2019, 80% Of The World’s Internet Traffic Will Be Video
According to a Cisco White Paper entitled the “Cisco Visual Networking Index: Forecast and Methodology, 2014–2019” released on May 27, 2015, 80% of the World’s Internet Traffic will be from video. This is a revelation for marketers who still doubt the power of video and the role it will play in the coming years. Basically, the dominant form of information consumption will be video. From a marketing perspective, video production will be the centerpiece of the sales and purchasing process and will need to be fully optimized for proper distribution across the internet and social media.
