For Business travellers, staying at a hotel with the right amount of gadgets and the right amount of luxe is important. Ever been travelling on business and ended up at a hotel without wifi? Not good! Well according to the readers of Conde Nast Traveler the Downtown Vancouver’s swank Fairmont Pacific Rim is the world’s best business hotel.

The hotel, which is the city’s third and newest Fairmont, sits along the water in downtown’s shiny Coal Harbour district. The Fairmont Pacific Rim boasts iPad2 devices that can be used for room controls, ordering meals, restaurant reservations, and spa appointments, as well as access to electronic versions of over 3,000 newspapers and magazines.

Rooms have lavish Mascioni towels, linens, and robes, and Nespresso machines. Free Internet access for President’s Club members as well as use of the BMW house car service. Fairmont Gold executive floor rooms have private concierge and butler services and lounge access. Take in the harbor and mountain views from the rooftop pool area, complete with hot tub, cabanas and fire pits.

The building that houses the hotel also features some of the most expensive penthouses in Canada. The most expensive penthouse ever sold in Canada was in the fairmont pacific rim. In 2013 this luxury penthouse in Vancouver was sold for a whopping $21million.
