Elle Swan is a Wellness Expert who teaches women how to overcome fear when they experience life after a break up, stress at work, or issues with their health. Eliminating fear of change is her specialty and her techniques are used by professional organizations as well. She’s a world traveler who has faced lions in South Africa, swum in the Indian Ocean, skydived at 15,000 feet, and scaled the Himalayan Mountains by motorcycle, demonstrating that her “comeback” philosophy can be used in the workplace, at home, and in the far reaches of the world. Her message provides a practical sense of inspiration and adventure to both her audiences and individual clients.
Elle has been invited to VIP events around the globe ranging from the DVF Awards with Diane von Furstenberg and Oprah Winfrey at the United Nations, to privately touring Neslson Mandela’s unforgettable prison cell on Robben Island.
BUT nothing matters more to Elle than teaching everyday women how to make a comeback in their lives.
Elle grew up in the Mid-West with a voracious appetite for learning. She published her first essay in a national anthology typically reserved for high school students when she was just nine years old. Ten years later, Elle received an academic scholarship to Oberlin College, graduating magna cum laude. After college, she moved to New York City, where she became a freelance journalist for The Source, Paper, and The Village Voice, going on to write three books of her own.
Elle’s creative desires eventually led her to Los Angeles, where she worked as a producer on TV shows such as ‘N Gear (with Tyson Beckford) and on films such as Deliver Us Eva (with Gabrielle Union and LL Cool J). During a hiatus from production work, Elle decided to pursue her natural interest in the spiritual arts, studying hypnosis, yoga, and neuro-linguistic programming. Her passion for both mental and physical health led to the decision at 41 years old to enter The Wilhelmina Models Hot Body Contest, where she placed in the top 5 out of more than 15,000 competitors. The other four finalist were in their 20s.
With more than a 100 TV appearances, Elle Swan’s strategies and achievements have been featured on ABC, FOX, NBC, PBS and inThe Wall Street Journal.
